- Inheritance Planning (Faraid): A tool for calculating Islamic inheritance shares based on the rules of faraid, including identification of heirs, application of blocking rules, and distribution of fixed shares and residual estate.
- Halal Mortgage Comparison: A comparison tool that presents information about Shariah-compliant home financing options available in the UK market, including diminishing musharakah products.
- Pension Screening: A screening tool that analyses pension funds and providers against Shariah compliance criteria and suggests halal alternatives where applicable.
- Financial Goal Tracking: Tools for setting and tracking Islamic financial goals including Hajj and Umrah savings, debt elimination plans, and other Shariah-compliant financial objectives.
- Educational Content: Articles, guides, and resources on Islamic finance topics including zakat, inheritance, halal investing, Islamic mortgages, and general financial literacy from an Islamic perspective.
The availability of specific features may vary depending on your subscription tier and geographic location. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time, subject to the terms set out in Section 13.
6. Critical Disclaimers
This section contains important disclaimers that affect your rights and our obligations. Please read this section carefully before using the Service.
6.1 Not Financial Advice
Deenari provides educational information and tools to help you understand Islamic financial principles. The Service does NOT constitute financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional financial guidance.
Deenari is NOT authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other financial regulatory body. We do not hold any FCA permissions and we are not a registered financial adviser, investment manager, or broker.
The information, calculations, and guidance provided through the Service are for educational and informational purposes only. They should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial advice tailored to your individual circumstances. Before making any financial decisions, including but not limited to decisions about investments, mortgages, pensions, tax planning, or wealth management, you should consult a qualified, FCA-regulated financial adviser.
Deenari does not recommend, endorse, or advise on any specific financial products, investments, or transactions. Any information about financial products displayed on the Platform is presented for educational comparison purposes only.
6.2 Not Religious Rulings (Fatwa)
The Service provides educational guidance on Islamic financial principles. The information, calculations, and AI-generated responses provided through the Service are NOT fatwas, religious rulings, or binding religious opinions.
Responses provided by the AI Advisor are based on general scholarly positions and established fiqh methodologies. They do not constitute personalised religious rulings tailored to your specific circumstances. Different scholars and different madhabs (schools of Islamic jurisprudence) may hold different positions on specific issues, and the information provided by Deenari may not reflect the position of your preferred scholar or madhab.
For matters requiring a personalised religious ruling, you should consult a qualified mufti or Islamic scholar who can consider your individual circumstances and provide guidance accordingly. Deenari does not employ muftis, scholars, or individuals qualified to issue fatwas.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the Islamic principles referenced in the Service are sourced from recognised scholarly works and mainstream fiqh positions, we do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of any religious information presented. Islam is a rich tradition with diverse scholarly opinions, and users are encouraged to seek knowledge from multiple qualified sources.
6.3 Calculation Accuracy
The calculations provided by the Service, including zakat calculations, inheritance distributions, and mortgage comparisons, are based on established Islamic jurisprudential methodologies and standard financial formulas. However, these calculations are only as accurate as the data you provide.
Deenari makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of its calculation engines. However, we do not guarantee that calculations will be free from errors, and we accept no liability for any inaccuracies in calculations resulting from software bugs, incorrect user input, outdated data, or changes in applicable rules or methodologies.
Live market data, including gold and silver prices used for nisab calculations, may be subject to delays, inaccuracies, or temporary unavailability. Prices displayed on the Platform may differ from actual market prices at the time of your transaction or calculation. You should verify current market prices from authoritative sources before relying on calculations that depend on live pricing data.
We strongly recommend that you verify all calculations with a qualified Islamic scholar or financial professional, particularly for significant financial obligations such as zakat payments and inheritance distributions.
6.4 AI Advisor Limitations
The AI Advisor feature is powered by Claude, a large language model developed by Anthropic. While the AI Advisor is designed to provide helpful and informative responses on Islamic financial topics, you should be aware of the following important limitations:
- AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. Large language models can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect information, a phenomenon sometimes referred to as "hallucination."
- The AI Advisor does NOT provide professional financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or religious rulings. Its responses are for educational and informational purposes only.
- AI-generated responses should not be the sole basis for any financial, legal, or religious decision. You should always verify information with qualified professionals.
- Deenari does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any AI-generated content. The AI model's training data has a knowledge cutoff date and may not reflect the most recent developments in Islamic finance, financial regulations, or market conditions.
- The AI Advisor may not be aware of your complete financial situation, local regulations, or personal circumstances, and therefore its responses may not be appropriate for your specific situation.
6.5 Third-Party Products
The Service may display information about financial products and services offered by third-party providers, including but not limited to halal mortgage providers, pension providers, investment platforms, and takaful (Islamic insurance) providers.
The display of third-party products on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by Deenari. We do not vouch for the Shariah compliance, financial soundness, or suitability of any third-party product or provider.
Deenari may receive referral commissions or affiliate fees from third-party providers when users click on links or sign up for products through the Platform. Where such commercial relationships exist, they will be clearly disclosed. Please refer to Section 15 (Affiliate Disclosure) for further details.
It is your sole responsibility to conduct your own due diligence before purchasing, subscribing to, or entering into any agreement with a third-party provider. Deenari is not a party to any transaction between you and a third-party provider and shall not be responsible or liable for any aspect of such transactions, including product quality, delivery, compliance, or dispute resolution.

The Premium Subscription unlocks the full capabilities of the Service. The Premium Subscription is available at the following prices:

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. If we increase prices, we will provide you with at least thirty (30) days' prior notice before the new prices take effect. Your continued subscription after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing. If you do not agree to the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new prices take effect.
7.3 Billing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to the Premium plan, you authorise Stripe to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan).
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@deenari.app. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. No partial or pro-rated refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable UK consumer law (see Section 16).
If a payment fails, we will provide a grace period of seven (7) days during which you may update your payment information. If payment is not received within the grace period, your account will be downgraded to the Free Tier. We may attempt to retry failed payments during the grace period.
7.4 Free Trial
From time to time, we may offer free trial periods for the Premium Subscription. If you sign up for a free trial, you will have access to Premium features for the duration of the trial period at no charge.
At the end of the free trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Premium Subscription at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the trial period ends. We will send you a notification before your trial ends to remind you of the upcoming conversion to a paid subscription.
Free trial eligibility is limited to one trial per person. We reserve the right to determine eligibility for free trials and to withdraw or modify trial offers at any time.

- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, its servers, or networks connected to the Service.
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service, including features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of Content.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this section, including but not limited to removing Content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting violations to law enforcement authorities.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service and all of its components, including but not limited to the Deenari name, logo, trademarks, visual design, user interface, layout, algorithms, calculation engines, AI prompts, source code, software, databases, blog content, educational materials, and all other intellectual property, are owned by or licensed to Deenari and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of England and Wales and international treaties.

The Deenari name and logo are unregistered trademarks of Deenari. You may not use our name, logo, or branding in any manner that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without our prior written consent.
9.2 User Data
You retain full ownership of all data and information that you submit to the Service, including financial data, personal information, and calculation inputs ("User Data"). By using the Service, you grant Deenari a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to process, store, and use your User Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
This licence terminates when you delete your account or request deletion of your User Data, subject to any retention periods required by applicable law or described in our Privacy Policy. For more information about how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9.3 AI-Generated Content
Content generated by the AI Advisor in response to your queries is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may save, copy, print, or reference AI-generated responses for your personal financial planning and educational purposes.
You may not systematically or bulk-extract AI-generated content for the purpose of creating, training, or enhancing a competing product, database, or service. Any such use constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Deenari's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount paid by you to Deenari in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) one hundred pounds sterling (£100).
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Deenari shall NOT be liable for:
- Any financial losses, damages, or adverse consequences resulting from reliance on calculations, AI-generated content, or any other information provided by the Service.
- Any losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading data provided by you to the Service.
- Any losses arising from decisions you make based on information from the Service without obtaining independent professional advice from a qualified financial adviser, tax adviser, or Islamic scholar.
- Any losses, damages, or disputes arising from your use of or interactions with third-party products, services, or providers referenced on the Platform.
- Any losses arising from unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to maintain the security of your credentials.
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or loss of business opportunity, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability, even if Deenari has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deenari disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Deenari, its owner, affiliates, contractors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your breach of these Terms or any provision herein.
- Your misuse of the Service or any feature thereof.
- Any inaccurate, false, or misleading information provided by you through the Service.
- Your reliance on information provided by the Service without obtaining independent professional advice from a qualified financial adviser, tax adviser, or Islamic scholar.

This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your account and these Terms.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at hello@deenari.app. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation within thirty (30) days of receiving your written notice of dispute.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty (30) days, either party may commence formal proceedings. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Nothing in this section shall affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of England and Wales, including your right to bring proceedings in the courts of the jurisdiction where you are domiciled. Your statutory consumer rights are preserved in full and are not limited by this dispute resolution process.
13. Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to maintain the availability of the Service at all times. However, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free basis. The Service may be subject to limitations, delays, and other problems inherent in the use of the internet and electronic communications.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service (including any features, functionality, or Content) at any time, with or without notice. Where practicable, we will provide reasonable advance notice of any significant modifications or discontinuations, particularly those affecting Premium subscribers.
From time to time, the Service may be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or other planned work. We will endeavour to perform scheduled maintenance during off-peak hours and to provide advance notice where possible.
Deenari shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service, or for any interruption, delay, or unavailability of the Service, whether planned or unplanned, except where we have specific obligations to Premium subscribers under applicable consumer law.
14. Termination
You may terminate your account and these Terms at any time by deleting your account through your account settings on the Platform, or by contacting us at hello@deenari.app to request account deletion.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if we determine in our reasonable discretion that you have violated these Terms, engaged in conduct that is harmful to the Service or other users, or if we are required to do so by law.
Upon termination of your account, whether by you or by us:
- Your right to access and use the Service will cease immediately (or, if you have cancelled a Premium Subscription, at the end of your current billing period).
- Your User Data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Any active Premium Subscription will be cancelled. No refunds will be issued for the remaining unused portion of any prepaid subscription period, except where required by applicable UK consumer law.
- You will lose access to all Premium features and any saved data, calculations, or reports associated with your account.
The following sections of these Terms shall survive termination: Section 6 (Critical Disclaimers), Section 9 (Intellectual Property), Section 10 (Limitation of Liability), Section 11 (Indemnification), Section 12 (Dispute Resolution), and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination.

- Pension providers: referral fees earned when users switch to Shariah-compliant pension products through the Platform.
- Takaful (Islamic insurance) providers: commissions earned when users purchase takaful products through the Platform.
The existence of affiliate relationships does NOT influence the calculations, AI Advisor responses, educational content, or any other aspect of the Service. Our zakat calculations, inheritance distributions, and other tools operate on objective, rules-based methodologies that are entirely independent of any commercial relationships.
Where affiliate links or referral relationships exist, they will be clearly disclosed on the relevant pages of the Platform. You are under no obligation to use any affiliate link or purchase any third-party product through the Platform. Using our affiliate links does not affect the price you pay for any product or service.
16. UK Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have certain statutory rights that cannot be excluded or limited by these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and your statutory consumer rights, your statutory rights shall prevail.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content and services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, be as described, and be fit for purpose. If the Service does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a remedy including a repeat performance of the service or a price reduction.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you purchased a Premium Subscription online, you have the right to cancel your subscription within fourteen (14) days of purchase without giving any reason (the "cooling-off period"). To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by contacting us at hello@deenari.app within the 14-day cooling-off period. If you have used the Service during the cooling-off period, you may be required to pay for the service provided up to the point of cancellation.
For any questions about your consumer rights or to exercise any of the rights described above, please contact us at hello@deenari.app.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms and shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
Where possible, the unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, lawful, and enforceable while preserving the original intent of the parties.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Deenari with respect to your access to and use of the Service. They supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to the Service.
No failure or delay by Deenari in exercising any right, power, or remedy under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right, power, or remedy. No single or partial exercise of any right, power, or remedy shall preclude any other or further exercise thereof or the exercise of any other right, power, or remedy.
